TRAGBAR hieß unser Label. Damals, als ich mit einer Freundin Vintage Nylonnachthemden, die wir auf Flohmärkten kauften, zum Kultstatus erklärten und zum Darüberziehen salonfähig machten. Für die Herren gab es allerlei exquisite Hemden und Anzüge fein aufbereitet. Ach, diese Flohmarktstöbereien waren wahrlich wundervoll. Das war auch die Zeit des Fortgehens und Leutetreffens. Alles schien möglich und erreichbar. Im Wiener Flex verkauften wir unsere Kleidung während wir wöchentlich den Themendienstag (panic) auch räumlich mit allerlei visuellen Explorationen gestalteten. Frei und kreativ. Viel Spaß im Gepäck.

Später ließen wir dieses Abenteuer wieder gehen, als wir beide in die Mutterrolle wuchsen, beinahe zum gleichen Zeitpunkt. Die momentanen Prioritäten verlagerten sich, doch Kleidung war schon immer ein sehr spannender Teil des Lebens für mich und wird es wohl auch bleiben. Back then, when I and a friend declared vintage nylon nightgowns that we bought at flea markets to have cult status and made them socially acceptable to wear over daywear. There were all sorts of exquisite shirts and suits for the men also. Oh, those flea market rummages were truly wonderful. That was also the time for going out and meeting people. Everything seemed possible and attainable. In Vienna’s Flex we sold our clothes while we organized the weekly Tuesday theme (panic) with all kinds of visual explorations. Free and creative. Having fun in our days..

We later let that adventure go as we both grew into motherhood, almost at the same time. The current priorities shifted, but clothing has always been a very exciting part of life for me and will probably remain so.
